The traffic on Mumbai-Pune Expressway was affected on Saturday evening after a truck carrying goods turned turtle at the Khandala exit point.
The incident occurred around 5 pm. The vehicle lost control due to a slope and turned turtle.

When contacted an officer from the Expressway control room said, "The truck, which was carrying a heavy load of goods turned turtle near the Khandala exit point on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. It is the same spot where Pune-based builder DS Kulkarni met with an accident a couple of days ago. The truck driver and the helper have sustained injuries. The traffic on the Pune to Mumbai lane is moving at a snail's pace."
He further added, "It will take a while to bring the traffic under control as a crane has to be deployed to clear the truck and being a weekend, many people from Mumbai are travelling to Khandala and Lonavala, which are popular tourist spots."
