Lauding the 'Woman of Courage' award conferred on the Delhi gang-rape victim, her brother said on Saturday that the family would be satisfied only when all the six accused get the death penalty.
“True justice will be the true awardWe want the death sentence for all the accused, including the juvenile. Only then will we get true justice and will be satisfied. He (the president) may use his special power for hanging him with the other five men,” the 20-year-old said.
United States' first lady Michelle Obama joined US Secretary of State John Kerry to honour the rape victim by conferring the award to her posthumously in Washington on International Women's Day on Friday. Mukherjee also honoured the young woman with the Rani Laxmi Bai Award in New Delhi.
