Tuning rather logging into Internet radio station MyOpusRadio.com is like scuba diving.

Bottles within bottles, air bubbles and the fish emitting them float to beach-friendly music; the interface is easy peasy; the colours are chirpy and the channels are parked in a yellow submarine.

In fact, there's an actual scuba driver around! Click on him to download the desktop player so you don't have to log on to the site again and again to listen to or switch between any of the nine radio channels.

Clicking on a fish will take you to Fish Fillet. No, it's not a food app (fish are friends, not food). This feature has four fish giving an A capella performance.

Soft-launched last November by Trump It Entertainment and Creative Services founders Carlton and Gina Braganza, myopusradio.com is for Indians starved for good music.

"It's an active platform for listeners, music lovers, music creators, lyricists, producers and brands to enjoy and gain from the talent network it creates," says Gina, who quit corporate life a decade ago to start Trump It with husband, Carlton.

Their team took a year to develop the Trump It Streaming Platform, an indigenously built database management, scheduling and streaming software.

MyOpusRadio.com is an online record label and radio station rolled into one, supported by Opus outlets across India.

"It's my dream to make it a holistic music destination with no geographical boundaries; with a vibrant base of listeners waiting to devour and appreciate great music from established and new artists," adds Gina.

The station is promoting Indian artists through shows on the The Opus Platform channel.

Thursday afternoon show T.O.P.S is a three-hour journey through the life and times of Indian bands, new albums, the latest gigs, and upcoming talent with RJ Sharmon Ibrahim.

Something Special interviews a group of musicians every Wednesday. Bulls Unplugged is a live 60-minute Thursday night show devoted to new kids on the block.

how it works: The interactive flash site lets you listen online, download a desktop or use a link to play it on Winamp, Media Player or iTunes.

Roll your cursor over the buttons in the submarine. Once you click, there is a channel description with indicative artists on each page.

Take your pick from: The C Train curated by Carlton, which plays jazz, blues, soul, funk and rock n roll. He also hosts the show ExtraBraganza that is essentially a best-of.

Vivek Vs Vivek has theatre man Vivek Madan's comic take interspersed with chartbusters. Characters like Circle Inspector Vaasudev, French fashion guru Monsieur Vaseline, English spy Agent Nosey Parker come alive.

Full Throttle features rock bands and artists. Cassette Player has all the music you loved in the Cassette Era, all RJ-free.

Sax and Violins is a dedicated jazz channel. Club Rulz features EDM DJs. Cross Country is a journey through country classics to the newer breed with Otis D'Souza.

Easy is high on melody and meaning. Think John Mayer, Sheryl Crow and Cold Play.

The Opus Platform is a channel dedicated to Indian bands that make quality, original international music, like Shaa'ir + Func, Medieval Pundits, Thermal and a Quarter and Skinny Alley.
