“Though I learnt swimming in a pool, I enjoy the challenges of swimming in the open sea. When I grow up, I want to cross the English Channel and compete in other long-distance international events.

“I want to be like my coach (Santosh) Patil sir, who holds the world record of swimming across the Santa Barbara Channel (in 2012) in 2 hours and 12 minutes,” said Tvisha, who cried as she embraced her worried parents immediately after the swim.u00a0
