The deceased were cousins and businessmen; they were found dead in the vehicle parked metres away from the local police station


Two businessmen were found dead under mysterious circumstances inside their parked vehicle at the parking lot of M2K Cinema in Rohini area of outer Delhi on Sunday night.

Police said that both were cousin brothers and were having liquor together inside the parked car and fell unconscious.u00a0 A passer-by informed the police at around 9:20pm. Both were rushed to Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital where they were declared brought dead. Police said that the deceased were identified as Suresh Kumar (34) and his cousin Vijay Garg (35). The official said that Suresh used to deal in dry fruit while Vijay Garg had a business of iron. Police have recovered a whisky bottle from the car.

Suresh used to live in Paschim Vihar area. On Sunday he had gone to meet his cousin Vijay at his house in south Rohini area along with his wife and two children.u00a0 "After having a family meeting, the duo decided to go out of the house to have some liquor. They reached the M2K Cinema complex in Suresh's Hyundai Verna," said the police official. After having liquor they fell unconscious. A passer-by found them there and informed the police.

"Police received a PCR call in this respect at around 9:20pm," said a senior police official. "We are conducting an investigation under section 174 CrPc (investigation carried on when there is doubt regarding the cause of death). The post mortem report does not clear the reason behind the deaths. They appear to be unnatural," said Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (outer district) Karuna Karan. He added that police is waiting for the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) and Forensic Sciences Laboratory (FSL) reports to ascertain the reason behind the deaths.
