With one of her sisters asleep and the other at work, Smriti went to the A-wing of her building terrace and leapt from there. Her mother is in America shopping for her wedding. Police haven’t interrogated the family yet, but have taken initial statements of her father and the two sisters.

Smriti father told the cops, that after entertaining guests the night before, the deceased had gone to bed. She woke up at around 8.30 am and went to the terrace and then leapt to her death. Cops say they are investigating all angles such as, whether she was unhappy with the proposed marriage or whether she was in a relationship with another person.
