Riding on Umesh Gujjar’s hard-hitting 97, MCC (Blue) scored a thumping 175-runs victory over Twisters Sports Club in the knockout quarter-finals of the Twister-MCC-Pro40 League-season-3 played at Cross Maidan here yesterday.
The winners will next take on MCC (Green) in the semi-finals to be played on Thursday. Batting first, MCC (Blue) scored to 267 for eight in the stipulated 40 overs.
