Shahrukh Shan Mohamed Khan has had it with the judiciary. The 28-year-old, who is being tried in a special court, hurled his slipper at the judge hearing his case yesterday, as he was unhappy with the progress of the case.
Khan, who was presented before the Special NDPS court said that he threw a slipper, aiming it at Judge Abhinandan Patangankar but it went over the head of judge. Khan is currently facing trial is charged under section 328 (Causing hurt by means of poison).

According to police, they have learned from the court that Khan was unhappy as he had been languishing in jail for the last eight months, and there was no development in his case.
FIR registered
PI Milind Korde of Colaba Police Station said, “An FIR has been registered against him under Sections 353 (Assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty) and 336 (Act endangering life or personal safety of others).”
