Around 17 government doctors and employees were found missing from duty in different primary government health centres during a suprise check in the district, a senior health official said today

Muzaffarnagar: Around 17 government doctors and employees were found missing from duty in different primary government health centres during a suprise check in the district, a senior health official said today.


"Around 17 doctors and employees were found absent during a surprise checks conducted at primary health centres in Megha Kheri, Makhiyali and Kukra yesterday," district chief medical officer, Subodh Kumar told media here.


A day's salary would be deducted of those found missing from duty, he said, adding the check was made after complaints were recieved that doctors have not attending to their duties in hospitals.
