Urvashi Rautela bestowed with Uttarakhand Maharatana Award by state's Chief Minister

Uttarakhand government honoured Urvashi Rautela with the prestigious award of Uttarakhand Maharatana for her immense efforts and involvement in helping her hometown prosper

The talented actress and supermodel Urvashi Rautela can easily be called one of the most sizzling and loving celebrities in Bollywood. She is a perfect combination of beauty with brains with a golden heart which believes in spreading the love. The actress is one of those few celebrities who using her star power in the right way by not only entertaining the audience via her films but at the same time contributing towards the society in need. Acknowledging her for this kind-hearted nature, recently the Uttarakhand government honored the actress with the prestigious award of Uttarakhand Maharatana for her immense efforts and involvement in helping her hometown prosper.

According to a source close to the actress, Urvashi and her family recently attended a function at their home grounds in Uttarakhand where the actress was awarded this special award. Amidst her busy professional schedule, the actress managed to remove time for this event as she is extremely close to her birthplace and was overwhelmed with the acknowledgment shown towards her efforts. The actress who hails from Kotdwara in Uttarakhand had just lately donated food and basic amenities to Uttarakhand when they were hit with the dreadful floods in 2017.  Through her foundation- Urvashi Rautela Foundation she has helped in every way possible. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal who presented this special award to Urvashi also went ahead in expressing that Urvashi was the extremely worth enough for this award, she is a global icon and has won many international achievements thereby making a name of her hometown Uttarakhand and inspiring many with her deeds.

Expressing her thoughts on receiving the award, the stunning actress says, " I am a daughter of Uttarakhand, and so the feeling to get this Uttarakhand ‘s Maharatna award is extremely special.  What a fabulous January to begin my year with. "

At work front, Urvashi Rautela will soon be seen in Hate Story 4 where she is going to be the hero of the film and will have an interesting character to look out for. The movie is expected to hit the screens on March 9, 2018. It is directed by Vishal Pandya and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar.
