Vahbiz Dorabjee on Kashmakash: The role is very contrasting to my real-life personality
Vahbiz Dorabjee talks about her role in the web-show, Kashmakash, and what makes it completely different and contrasting to her real-life personality!
Actress Vahbiz Dorabjee is all set to step into the digital world with a fiery upcoming debut, Kashmakash! The web show which has 5 different stories to showcase to the audiences is already looking quite promising with an amazing star cast in each of them, as well as some gripping and interesting storylines!
Vahbiz who will be seen in a totally different avatar this time is going to be playing a very contrasting character with layers and different shades to it. Her sweet and simple role of a housewife will through the course of the show really intrigue the audiences with the changes and evolvement of the character which is the main crux of the story!
So speaking about what her character has to offer through the show and how it is actually very different from who she really is off-screen Vahbiz shares, "My character is very subtle compared to who I am in real life. My role is of a sweet and simple housewife who is always dressed in these heavy sarees, very dedicated to her husband and child, always cooking in the kitchen and taking care of the house, and someone who is not very upfront and a very introvert person. The role is very contrasting to my real-life personality, as I am someone who is an extrovert and very strong headed and bold, and always speaking up for myself! So getting into the skin of this character was definitely a challenge, but a good one."
"I in fact somehow instantly connected to the role when I was first briefed about it, and actually went the very next day to get narration on the same. It was something different to what I have portrayed on screen in the past, and since I am someone who is always looking at variety when it comes to my characters and roles as I don't like to repeat what I have done in the past, I instantly took this up to give myself a shot at something new and different."
