The 28-year-old actor said the movie will be announced soon but did not divulge any other details about it. "'Shuddhi' is not happening now but I am doing another project with Dharma (productions), which will be announced soon," Varun told reporters.

There have been reports that Varun and Alia would star in 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania', a sequel to Johar's "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania". But the star did not confirm whether his next with Johar is that particular project.

Varun will also be seen in 'Judwaa 2', which will be directed by his father David Dhawan.

It is the sequel to superstar Salman Khan's 1997 hit comedy 'Judwaa', which was also helmed by David.

When asked what was Salman's reaction on him doing the sequel, Varun said, "I think it is too early to talk about 'Judwaa 2'. There's 'Dishoom' coming up and one more surprise is there. We will talk about 'Judwaa 2' later."

'Dishoom', directed by Varun's brother Rohit, also stars John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez.

The movie is set for a July 29 release.
