Former India captain Dilip Vengsarkar, who was vice-president of the Mumbai Cricket Association until last year, was surprised and disappointed by the SRK vs MCA fracas that unfolded at the Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday night after the Mumbai Indians vs Kolkata Knight Riders Indian Premier League game.
“I don’t know what exactly happened since I am away, but I feel both parties should have shown more dignity and maturity in handling this issue. Things shouldn’t have reached so far (in the controversy),” said Vengsarkar when informed about the five-year ban the MCA has slapped on the Bollywood star.u00a0
