However for the Main family at Vikhroli it's much more than exam tensions. Their 19-year-old son Prashant Main survived a train accident but severely injured his head and back on Monday.
Unfortunate journey
Around 9.30 pm, Prashant a student of Rajiv Gandhi Night College at Vikhroli, was returning from Ghatkopar along with his other friend, who had gone to verify their study materials.
They boarded the train at Ghatkopar to go back home and stood on the doorway of the compartment. When the train was between Vikhroli and Kanjurmarg, Prashant slipped, hit a pole mid-air and fell on the side of the tracks, finally into an empty gutter.

Sagar, a friend of Prashant who reached the spot said, "I got a call from Prashant's friend travelling with him and we immediately rushed to the spot."
Two policemen accompanied us in our search and we finally managed to bring him back onto the Vikhroli station on a stretcher. We had to take him in a train to reach Rajawadi Hospital, as there were neither an ambulance nor any medical help."
Apparently, Prashant couldn't balance himself in the jam-packed train especially during the 9.30 pm peak hour when many return home.
The group got down at Vidyavihar and took Prashant in an auto rickshaw. The doctors informed that he had sustained injuries on his head and back.
Prakash Main, Prashant's fatheru00a0said, "Necessary medical examinations are under process," and rushed back to the hospital.
Prashant's parents, younger brother and elder sister now hope he recovers fast before his exams on February 26.
