Virat Kohli thrilled by aggression in kabaddi

India's Test cricket skipper Virat Kohli, who enjoyed the first half of the inaugural day in the Pro Kabaddi Season Four at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Stadium in National Sports Club Of India (NSCI), Worli on Saturday, was delighted to see the aggression factor in kabaddi.

"In modern-day sport, aggression is so important. You have to be aggressive in your mind first, only then will it will help while playing," Kohli said during the halftime break of the Season Four opener between Puneri Paltan and Telugu Titans. The Pune outfit won 28-24.


Kohli spent some time with his former India teammate Zaheer Khan whose fitness company helped the Pune team. Comedian Kapil Sharma sang the national anthem, witnessed by Kohli and Anand Mahindra.

Celebrities who graced the NSCI were Bollywood icons Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan (to support son Abhishek's Jaipur team), Ranbir Kapoor, Kiran Rao and Shah Rukh Khan. In the second match of the day, hosts U Mumba beat Jaipur Pink Panthers 36-34.

Today, Bengaluru Bulls will take on Bengal Warriors while U Mumba will meet Pune.
