Google search trends for past 30 days reflect the rising support of fans for some big stars, including Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir, who are looking for a comeback while others like Suresh Raina are looking to strengthen their position in the Indian squad.

"While most of the cricket experts doubt the chances of Sehwag making a comeback to international cricket, his fans continue to search and support him online and are very hopeful about his comeback. Virendra Sehwag leads the online search among other star players looking for a comeback," Google said in a statement.

Gambhir, who led the Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2014 and CLT20, is still struggling to get a place in the squad. Even as he works towards the prospect of being considered for the World Cup, fans seem to continue their backing for him.

Raina is turning out to be extremely dependable off late. With a scintillating unbeaten 109 in the CLT20 final, he has made his approach clear. Although he has been able to maintain a permanent position in the ODI squad, he will be looking to strengthen his position before they move into the biggest cricketing tournament next year.

Chinanman bowler Kuldeep Yadav has gained much fan following online ever since he made it to the Indian squad against the West Indies. He will need to continue his strong performance not only to maintain and grow his fan following, but ultimately for making it to the World Cup squad.
