VJ Nikhil Chinapa and wife DJ Pearl were blessed with a baby girl on Thursday, February 22, 2018. The new parents are in the seventh heaven. Talking about it an overwhelmed Pearl told Mumbai Mirror, "As every parent would say, there's no sleep, to begin with, but every minute is worth it. We did look up names but we weren't sure if it's a girl or a boy. Now that we know we have a daughter, we can narrow down our search."

Nikhil, who says that nothing can prepare you for that moment when the baby arrives, further told the publication, "I kept thinking about it all these months, wondering how I would react. When it finally happened, it was overwhelming. My friends who are already parents tell me about how your life changes completely but nothing can prepare you for this!"
Also, Pearl got a helping hand from her sister, who became a parent five months ago. This helped Pearl in getting a lot of advice. "My sister lives in London but we speak daily. She's like an encyclopedia, we Facetime with our babies. The cousins met online and it was a sweet moment, I couldn't have asked for better engineering," said Pearl.
"My job gives me freedom in terms of when I can work. Every time I look at my daughter I want to pick her up and play, I'm making the most of these moments," said Nikhil, who is on a break right now.
