New Delhi: Rio Olympics gold medallist Vladimer Khinchegashvili of Georgia emerged as the costliest buy of the Pro Wrestling League-2, while India star wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt opted out of as he decided not to go under the hammer at the auction, where his protege Bajrang Punia became India’s most expensive buy with Delhi franchise signing him for Rs 38 lakh yesterday.

Overall, of PWL-2 auctions after being snapped up by Punjab for a whopping R48 lakh. Delhi splurged Rs 47 lakh on Mariya Stadnik, making her the most expensive women wrestler, where India ace woman grappler Sakshi Malik bagged only Rs 30 lakh. Ritu Phogat was the most expensive Indian woman wrestler at Rs 36 lakh after being signed by Jaipur.
