A lot of Bollywood celebrities have recently taken a break from social media like Sonakshi Sinha, Saqib Saleem, and Zaheer Iqbal to distance themselves from the negativity the platform is surrounded and hounded by. The latest celebrity to take a break is singer Neha Kakkar.

Taking to her Instagram story, she wrote a note that read- "Going back to sleep. Plz wake me up when there’s a better world. The world where there’s Freedom, Love, Respect, Care, Fun, Acceptance, Good People. Not Hatred, Nepotism, Jealousy, Bossy People, Hitlers, Murders, Suicides, Bad People." Her post suggests just like a lot of other Bollywood celebrities, she too needs the time to stay away from toxicity and online trolling they are often victims of. Kakkar had also taken to her Instagram account to pay her condolences to Sushant Singh Rajput. Sharing a picture of the actor, she wrote- "You will be Born again in that life....." (sic) Here it is:

Recently, she also became the second-most viewed artist on YouTube, leaving behind Selena Gomez and Karol G! Coming to Bollywood singers, Sonu Nigam had recently uploaded a video on Instagram where he spoke about how there's a bigger mafia in the music industry than in the Hindi film industry. He also said how there could be a singer next after Sushant Singh Rajput.

And in another video that he shared with his fans on Facebook, he elaborated on the plight of the singers and said, "Bhushan Kumar, now I have to mention your name. And you deserve to be addressed without respect. You have instigated the wrong person," he said this in Hindi.
