Pay for certificate
The ward boys, Santosh Narvekar and Pradeep Shirke, demanded Rs 2,000 from a patient, who had undergone treatment for a throat infection at the hospital. The duo said that they would not clear the certificate till the amount was paid. Following the demand made by Narvenkar and Shirke, the complainant informed the ACB officials.u00a0

Reacting to the complaint, ACB officials laid a trap and told the journalist to agree to pay the ward boys the amount they had demanded. The sleuths then arrested Narvekar while he was accepting money from the complainant. ACB officials said that soon after Narvekar accepted the bribe, he handed over Rs 1,500 to Shirke. u00a0
