Parineeti took to social media to share a video that features her performing a patriotic song for a special Independence Day programme on Doordarshan.

Parineeti, dressed in red salwar-kameez, was also accompanied by her brother Shivang.
While sharing the video, Parineeti wrote, "Facepalm!!! 13 years ago :) It was a special Independence day programme and my brother Shivang (in blue) and I represented our music school SurSangam on tv!! #Doordarshan #FirstTimeOnTv Thanks to all my fans who found this video ..
