Parineeti Chopra may have marked her Bollywood debut with 'Ladies vs Ricky Bahl' opposite Ranveer Singh, but the actress made her first television appearance 13 years ago on Doordarshan!


Parineeti took to social media to share a video that features her performing a patriotic song for a special Independence Day programme on Doordarshan.


Parineeti, dressed in red salwar-kameez, was also accompanied by her brother Shivang.


While sharing the video, Parineeti wrote, "Facepalm!!! 13 years ago :) It was a special Independence day programme and my brother Shivang (in blue) and I represented our music school SurSangam on tv!! #Doordarshan #FirstTimeOnTv Thanks to all my fans who found this video .. I had forgotten all about it!! (sic)"
