Laura Simpson is gets livid as she is still considered a villain post her night out with footballer Wayne Rooney while the Everton star has been given hero status after scoring a hat-trick v West Ham on Thursday.
In frustration, Simpson, 29, tweeted, "Love how I'm the villain and he's a hero #doublestandards." She then deleted the tweet she wrote out of frustration, reported British tabloid, The Sun. Simpson enjoyed a night out with the former England captain this September. They reportedly kissed and later the footballer was arrested after being stopped for driving under the influence of alcohol. Meanwhile, Rooney has been working to save his marriage to Coleen. He has undergone community service as punishment even as social media users branded Simpson a 'marriage wrecker'.
The goal Rooney scored from inside his own half has been hailed one of the best in the league's history and social media going berserk praising the goal.
This is not the first time Simpson has taken a dig at the couple. Earlier, she slammed Coleen for terming her so-called marriage saving attempts as 'attention seeking'.
