WBBSE (wbbse.org) is all set to announce the West Bengal (WB) Board madhyamik pariksha or class 10th exam results 2015 by tomorrow, 22nd May 2015 at wbbse.org and wbresults.nic.in. Students can also check their WBBSE madhyamik pariksha or class 10th exam results 2015 at wb10.jagranjosh.com.

West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) is likely to be announced the class 10th or madhyamik pariksha results by tomorrow, 22nd May 2015 at 10 AM. WB Board mdhyamik pariksha class 10th exam results 2015 will also be published on https://www.jagranjosh.com/results/wb-10th-result-2015-10th-96148, official West Bengal Board result website wbbse.org and wbresults.nic.in.

As far as the result declarations of 2014 are concerned, the same were announced on 10th May and approximately 10 lakh students had appeared for the examinations. It was significantly observed that the pass percentage among the students has progressively increased. In 1952, the Board handled only 42000 examinees, which increased to more than five lakhs in 1976 and in 2006 this figure jumped to nearly 8 lakhs. 

Over the years, the Board has also taken up the publication of text books for different classes as well according approval to books from private authors and publishers. From 1989, the examination system has been computerized and the Board is in the process of total computerization of works. 

It goes without saying that the board leaves no stone unturned to provide qualitative education to the students. Apart from conducting examinations, the board also develops and promotes the aspect of secondary education in the state of West Bengal. The board also acts as the advisory organ to the state government on the matter of scientific advancement of secondary education. In addition, it is also important for the students to practise mock test papers or model test papers. These model test papers comprise of past year questions as well in order to prepare students in all aspects. All these examinations play an important role in the life of students.

The board of education was established in the year 1951 under the Act of the State Legislature known as the West Bengal Secondary Education Act 0f 1950, the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) affiliates many public and private schools in the state of West Bengal. The board is responsible to conduct two major annual exams every year – class 10 and class 12. Around 10, 50,000 examinees take up the exams every year.
