Pratidhwani Music is bringing an evening of stories and poetry that celebrates Independence Day. Bol Ke Lab Azad Hai Tere derives its title from the legendary Faiz Ahmed Faiz's poem. The idea is to understand from poets in the city what their definition of “independence” is. How do they see the country 71 years after independence? What makes them happy about the fact that we live in a free country? Poets who wish to participate have to submit two poems each from which five poets will be short-listed. They shall be performing along with the three poets who will be featured that evening — Divya Prakash Dubey, Puneet Sharma and Divv Sharma.

Slip into your trekking shoes
