Former television couple Divyanka Tripathi and Ssharad Malhotra parted ways in early 2015 after dating for seven years and kept rumour mills guessing about the reason for months. The actress later admitted that she felt caged in the relationship, which did not go down well with her ex beau.

So when they came face-to-face at a match of Ekta Kapoor’s Box Cricket League, they apparently decided to look through one another. An eyewitness says, “They did not bother to acknowledge each other. The cold vibes between them was perceptible. They found it tough to stay true to their claims of remaining cordial and friendly as exes.”
We have also heard that Divyanka and Ssharad, who are shooting for Balaji Telefilms’ Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki respectively at the same film studio, avoid crossing each other’s paths.
Ssharad denies the buzz, saying, “There was nothing awkward. It’s been over a year and we have both moved on. She is lucky to have found a good person in her life (co-star Vivek Dahiya) and I wish her well.”
Divyanka says, "It wasn't awkward because there's no rivalry between them and me. In fact, off field we all were pally. Referring to your second question, that chapter has no relevance in my life any more. I was too focused on Pro Pune Anmol Ratn. My soon to be husband was there to support me and nothing mattered more to me than his presence and our performance."
