For the first time ever, the high-pitched Sufi-singer Kailash Kher is collaborating with contemporary music composer Lesle Lewis at the four-city extravaganza Antiquity Club Fusion.
Along with individual performances, the two will come together for a rare musician synergy featuringu00a0 the diversity of their styles and genres. We catch Lesle Lewis ahead of the synthesis.
What kind of rapport do you share with Kailash Kher?
The rapport is like how most singers have. There is great mutual respect. We have a lot of fun and spontaneity when we perform together.

What can the Bangalore audience expect from the concert?
Well, it's a Kailash Kher and Lesle Lewis concert, so people can expect quiteu00a0 a bit. I want to present something that the people have never heard before. I will do something new, which I composed two days ago. Why should people wait for an album to release? Why should people hear the songs which they get to hear on TV and radio in a live concert?
What do you like about the Bangalore audience?
They are fabulous and love both Indian and Western music. Bangalore is not like what it used to be. The city has people from all over the country- Delhi and Kolkata. It's a lot more cosmopolitan than before.
What's your favorite Kailash Kher track?
Saiyyan
Are you planning to work on more regional films after Chiku Buku in 2010?
I am open to working on any film. I am not the factory type, so if the director wants to work with me, I am ready.
What' s keeping you busy now?
I have just finished 10 cities of Coke Studio. Now I am on the four-city tour with Kailash Kher. I have composed the anthem for F1, which I am going to sing live at the F1 race in Noida, along with K K, Daler Mehndi and Lucky Ali. I am also performing for the Storm festival in Coorgu00a0 on November 11.
When will we see the next Colonial Cousin album?
We have wanted to do it but both Hariharan and I are busy. I can't say when exactly we will do it.
