Richa Chadda has been shooting in Lucknow for Sudhir Mishra’s film, 'Pyaas'. On Wednesday, she was scheduled to make an appearance at an event in Mumbai for her film, 'Tamanchey', but the actress couldn't do so apparently because she had to stay back in Lucknow to finish shooting for Sudhir Mishra's film.

A source says, "Richa needs to promote 'Tamanchey'. But she also has to finish shooting for 'Pyaas' on time since she will soon begin shooting for another film. Plus, she is expected to travel to many cities for her play. Mishra had planned her schedule accordingly."

The source adds that as per this plan, the actress was to fly down to Mumbai on Wednesday and return at night. But she couldn't shoot some scenes on Tuesday.

"Since Richa has a tight schedule, the rest of the cast has been given break and her solo scenes are being shot. But she couldn't shoot for some scenes on Tuesday and flying to Mumbai would have upset the schedule, so Sudhir Mishra had to make her cancel her one-day trip," says a unit member.

Richa says, "I wanted to come for the 'Tamanchey' event. But our Lucknow schedule has already suffered due to the rains." Sudhir Mishra was unavailable for comment.
