Sonakshi Sinha reveals why she had to unlearn her fashion designing skills for her next Welcome To New York

Yesterday, the trailer of Sonakshi Sinha's next, Welcome To New York, was unveiled. The actor says she plays a 'dhinchak' designer in the comic caper, which has Diljit Dosanjh, Karan Johar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Lara Dutta as co-actors. Before Bollywood beckoned, Sinha wanted to pursue a career in fashion and even did a course in it. But for this film, she had to unlearn whatever the actor had learnt to add that dhinchak element to the character.

Welcome To New York is produced by Vashu Bhagnani and directed by Chakri Toleti, the film is slated to release on February 23, 2018.
