Whenever we hear Hindi rock band, we are a little sceptical. But, Delhi-based The Local Train made us eat our words. Even though according to us, they are not a “rock” band, they are a very good band. We went through a binge listening session to realise that watching them live could be a good decision. We started with Dil Mere, which was a feel-good love song, but we really loved Aaoge Tum Kabhi, with its catchy guitar riff and mellow vocals. We also enjoyed listening to Kaise Jiyun, which is that heartwrenching ballad. What the band also excels at is making some decent music videos in an era where we have forgotten what a good music video looks like.

All said and done, if yo are a fan of the Kabiras and the Channa Mereyas, then this gig is a must for you. We promise you, you will thank us.
