A wife made sure her husband was behind bars when she realised that he had duped her by faking his graduation certificate
The husband, identified as Sachin Bapu Adhatrao, was arrested by the Mulund police for forgery and cheating on Sunday. According to the police, the wife learnt that her husband had also obtained his earlier job in Doha, Qatar, by faking his graduation certificate.u00a0
She then decided to get him arrested and lodged a complaint with the Mulund police. Sneha Sharma (name changed), who works in an insurance firm in Powai, got married to Adhatrao on October 23, 2009, after they meet on an online marriage portal.

Adhatrao was then working with a logistics company as an operations executive in Doha, Qatar. “We began having continuous fights soon after the wedding. Nothing changed even after our son was born. Fed up, I started staying at my parents place in Mulund.
Once, when I visited him at Navi Mumbai, I found two B.Com certificates at his house, one of pass in 2000 and one of fail in 2006. Following that, I lodged a complaint against him in Mulund police station,” said Sharma. “Adhatrao was granted bail on Sunday by a holiday court,” said a police officer from Mulund police station.u00a0
