In naming Prince Harry as his 'best man' William broke the usual Royal family tradition of opting to choose a supporter for his big day.

As tradition dictates, Prince Harry will now be responsible for organising William's stag party.

The Prince of Wales chose his brother Prince Andrew to be his supporter when he married Diana at St Paul's Cathedral in 1981.

William and Kate will have four bridesmaids and two page boys on their big day on April 29, in the biggest royal wedding since William's late mother Diana married Prince Charles in 1981.

They include the young niece of one of Diana's bridesmaids, as well as the granddaughter of Prince Charles' second wife, Camilla.

It was widely predicted that William would pick Harry to be his 'supporter', as the best man is known in royal weddings.

Philippa (27), known as Pippa, is a regular on the London social circuit and also works in the family mail-order business Party Pieces.

All the bridesmaids and page boys will be dressed to match the bride, said sources.u00a0
