Will Ajay Devgn give up Capsule Gill title for Akshay Kumar's film?
There is talk that Kyta Productions is planning to produce 1989 Raniganj coal mine disaster film with Akshay Kumar
Last year, there was buzz that Akshay Kumar was interested in a film based on the 1989 Raniganj coal mine disaster, with the actor playing mining engineer Jaswant Singh Gill, the hero of the rescue operation. Now, there is talk that Ajay Kapoor of Kyta Productions is planning to produce it with Akki. The filmmaker is keen on the title, Capsule Gill, but Ajay Devgn has the rights. Devgn was supposed to play Gill in a film to be directed by Rustom (2016) director Tinu Suresh Desai. The project did not take off due to creative differences. Will Devgn now give up on the title as well?
Meanwhile, on the work front, Akshay Kumar is currently shooting for Housefull 4 and will soon start promotions of his film Gold. Gold marks the Bollywood debut of actress Mouni Roy. Apart from the duo, Gold has an ensemble cast of Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh, Vineet Singh, Sunny Kaushal and Nikita Dutta.
While Ajay Devgn has Total Dhamaal which also stars Madhuri Dixit, Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Jaaved Jaaferi and Esha Gupta. He will also be seen in Akiv Ali's film which stars Rakul Preet Singh and Tabu, and a few other films in his kitty.
