'Life of Pi' (2012) actor Suraj Sharma has been approached to play a stellar role in Anushka Sharma's upcoming production.

The youngster was approached by the film's director, Anshai Lal. The comic caper is slated to go on floors in April in Punjab.
Last heard, Suraj was still in talks with the makers.
