Kolkata: A young woman allegedly escaped rape by jumping from the second floor of a building near Kolkata on Sunday.

The woman suffered injuries on her head and has been admitted in a hospital in Kolkata. Three men, including the survivor's boyfriend have been arrested.
According to news reports, the woman had come to meet hey boyfriend, who was with two of his friends. They offered her a spiked drink and tried to rape her, that is when she ran to the balcony and jumped from there.
Local residents took the injured woman to the hospital and also managed to catch hold of the accused and handed them to the cops.
