The complainant, photographer Viral Bhayani, has CCTV footage from his house that shows the woman break in with a slight push at the automatic lock; no other valuables were missing other than the laptop

A freelance photographer who works with Bollywood stars has alleged that a woman broke into his house and fled with just his laptop, which contained candid photographs of actors. A CCTV that he had installed in his house has captured the break-in.

The complainant, identified as Viral Bhayani, is a well-known photographer. In the complaint lodged by him at DN Nagar police station, he claimed that he had stepped out of his home when the theft took place yesterday. When Bhayani returned home in the evening, he saw that all the valuables were untouched, but his laptop was missing.

Bhayani said that a woman in her 20s entered his locked house with complete ease and decamped with his laptop. “This is a planned theft, in which the only target was my laptop,” said Bhayani. The break-in has been captured on the CCTV installed at his house.

The footage revealed that Bhayani’s main door, which has an automatic lock, was unlocked by the woman with a slight push upwards. Bhayani told the police that only his family members knew about the lock, and the woman was definitely planted by his rivals. Bhayani claims that the laptop contained photographs of many famous Bollywood personalities. The police have registered a case of theft and are tracing the robber.
