WWE's next pay-per-view event Fastlane, which is a WWE Raw brand event will see WWE superstar Goldberg in his first title match in over a decade. Bayley will also defend her WWE Raw women's title for the first time at a PPV.

Rich Swann and Akira Tozawa vs. The Brian Kendrick and Noam Dar
After watching Akira Tozawa's debut and next match, The Brian Kendrick volunteered to become Tozawa's mentor. After Tozawa turned him down, Kendrick attacked him. Rich Swann too defeated Noam Dar on the same episode. Kendrick had a match against Tozawa and defeated him via count-out. When Brian Kendrick attacked Akira Tozawa following his win against Noam Dar on Raw, a tag team match was made between the 4 WWE wrestlers.
Sami Zayn vs. Samoa Joe
During Samoa Joe's WWE Raw debut, he made it clear that he was not like Sami Zayn and was here to make a difference. Sami Zayn called out Samoa Joe the same night. Sami Zayn told off Joe for attacking Seth Rollins and doing Triple H's dirty work. During Sami Zayn's match against Kevin Owens on Raw, Samoa Joe attacked him before the match began, which led to Owens' victory.When Samoa Joe mentioned that he was in the WWE to hurt people, Sami Zayn attacked him.
Neville vs. Jack Gallagher for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship
Neville became the new Cruiserweight champ at Royal Rumbe after beating Rich Swann. After Swann's injury, his rematch could not be scheduled. Jack Gallagher won a Fatal 5-Way Elimination match against T.J. Perkins, Mustafa Ali , Cedric Alexander and Noam Dar to become the no 1 contender. During the contract signing, Neville and Gallagher entered a brawl, which later Neville departed from. He also told all WWE cruiserweight wrestlers that he considers himself superior than them.
Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson vs. Enzo Amore and Big Cass for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship
Gallows and Anderson won the tag team titles from Cesaro and Sheamus at Royal Rumble. During the rematch, Cesaro and Sheamus lost, due to Enzo and Cass intefering. Later on WWE Raw, Enzo and Cass defeated Cesaro and Sheamus for the no 1 contender spot.
Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax
With loads of attacks by Nia Jax over many Raw episodes, Sasha Banks decided to payback. She decided to be in Bayley's corner at Fastlane but Stephanie McMahon shut it down and put Sasha Banks in a match with Nia Jax instead.
Bayley vs. Charlotte Flair for the WWE Raw Women's Championship
Bayley beat charlotte on Raw to become the new women's champion, with a little help from Sasha Banks. When Stephanie McMahon told Bayley to relinquish her women's title, Bayley refused and Sasha supported her. Former women's champion Charlotte then invoked her rematch at WWE Fastlane. During a tag team match Nia Jax and Charlotte defeated Bayley and Sasha Banks.
Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman
At Royal Rumble, Braun Strowman attacked Roman Reigns during his title match against Kevin Owens, which led the latter to retain the title. During Braun Strowman's title shot match on Raw, he was attacked by Roman Reigns. When Braun Strowman asked Mick Foley for stronger competition, Foley put Strowman in a match against Reigns at Fastlane. Braun Strowman overpowered Roman Reigns twice after that, during his matches with Mark Henry and Big Show.
Kevin Owens vs. Goldberg for the WWE Universal Championship
Goldberg appeared on Kevin Owens' show and stated that he would win the Royal Rumble and win the title after. Goldberg eliminated Brock Lesnar but failed to win the Rumble. Later, Brock Lesnar challenged Goldberg to a match at WrestleMania, which Goldberg accepted. When Goldberg challenged Kevin Owens to the Universal championship at Fastlane 2017, Chris Jericho accepted on his behalf. Kevin Owens attacked his best friend Chris Jericho during their 'Festival of Friendship' and shifted focus to Goldberg. While Goldberg vowed to beat Kevin Owens to be the new WWE Universal champion at Fastlane, Owens said he would beat Goldberg just like other big wrestlers such as John Cena.
WWE Fastlane will take place on Sunday, March 5, 2017 from the BMO Harris Bank Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and India it will air on Monday, March 6, 2017.
