WWE Raw main event saw Roman Reigns defend his WWE United States title against WWE Universal champion Kevin Owens. Reigns went on to successfully defend his title against the champion despite interference from Chris Jericho.

Roman Reigns' friend and former Shield partner Seth Rollins came to the aid of Reigns during the WWE Raw main event match. Seth Rollins mocked Triple H's move before hitting Kevin Owens with the Pedigree. Roman Reigns then hit the spear on Chris Jericho as the two men stood tall.

WWE Raw commissioner Stephanie McMahon earlier in the show burned down WWE fans chanting 'CM Punk'. She poked fun at the former WWE wrestler by telling the fans 'if they could keep it up for 2 minutes and 15 seconds they would last more than CM Punk. This was a direct jab at CM Punk's UFC debut in which he lost in 2 min 14 sec.

Seth Rollins also faced Braun Strowman in a match which was interrupted by Sami Zayn. Braun Strowman then chased Zayn into the crowd. Jericho thereafter, entered the ring and hit the codebreaker on Rollins.

Enzo Amore and Cass came out and took a dig at WWE star Rusev. Neville defeated TJ Perkins in their cruiserweight division match.

WWE Raw Women's champion Charlotte Flair faced Bayley with Dana Brooke as the special guest referee. After hitting Charlotte with her Bayley to Belly move, Bayley went for the pin but was unsuccessful. Charlotte won after pinning Bayley with her foot on the ropes.
