WWE SmackDown Live saw AJ Styles attack SmackDown commissioner Shane McMahon, Bray Wyatt send a message to Randy Orton, John Cena and Nikki Bella confront Miz and Maryse

AJ Styles showcased his major frustration after not being included in any WrestleMania match. He vouched to have a word with Shane McMahon regarding the same, When SmackDown Live's commissioner entered backstage, AJ Styles brutally attacked Shane McMahon and rammed his head through a car window causing him to bleed. Daniel Bryan then fired AJ Styles. Despite a requirement for medical help, Shane McMahon came out and made a huge announcement - AJ Styles would have a match at WrestleMania and it would be against Shane himself.

Becky Lynch fought against Natayla and picked up a quick win. Carmella then entered the ring and attacked both women.
SmackDown then had The Miz and Maryse talking about how they were the power couple of the WWE and John Cena and Nikki Bella had fake love. Miz and Maryse repeatedly took pot shots at Cena and Nikki with Miz also stated that John Cena only loved himself and would never marry Nikki Bella. SmackDown general manager Daniel Bryan then entered and announced a mixed tag team match at WrestleMania 33 with John Cena and Nikki Bella against The Miz and Maryse.
Royal Rumble winner Randy Orton came out and stated that it was his plan all along to join The Wyatt Family with the intent of taking them out one by one. As the opportunity was right, The Viper struck and burned down Bray Wyatt's compound. Bray Wyatt then replied to Randy Orton that he has baptized himself with the ashes of Sister Abigail.
SmackDown women's champion Alexa Bliss took on her former friend Mickie James in a match. Mickie James won after hitting the Mick Kick on Alexa. Dolph Ziggler faced Mojo Rawley and decided to go for a countout after Rawley controlled the match. American Alpha faced The Usos in a tag team match. Jay Uso picked up the win for his team.
