'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' star Karan Patel, aka Raman Bhalla, tied the knot with his fiancee Ankita Bhargava, last seen as Latika in 'Ekk Nayi Pehchaan', on Sunday, May 3.

The two had held their sangeet ceremony on Saturday, which was attended by the who's who of telly world, including his 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' co-star Divyanka Tripathi, Karan Tacker and Krystle D'Souza.

The Kolkata-born actor is currently sharing screen space with Ankita's father Abhay Bhargava, who plays his on-screen father-in-law in the show 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein'.

Karan took to Twitter to thank Aly Goni, who plays his brother Romi on the show, for being the matchmaker between him and Ankita. He tweeted, "Thanks to my brother @AlyGoni ... I start a new life with @AnkzBhargava .... We are happy and ALY is my #GodChild"
