Zorbing down a hill

At Sutarwadi, or Powai

Want to know how Jack felt while tumbling down the hill? Zorbing doesn't even require you to break your crown over it. All you need to do is get inside a massive, inflatable, transparent zorb ball, while someone gives it a toss, so you gently roll down a hilly slope.

Watch the world in all its 360-degree glory while you get tossed around like a salad. The Kiwi invention requires you to get strapped to the inner layer of a plastic ball, while the outer air layer acts as a shock absorber. No breaks, no steering. It's just you versus gravity.

It's a given that your throat is going to be sore from all the screaming, but the minute-long adrenaline rush is better than any roller coaster ride.

Call: Empower Activity Camps at Sutarwadi (near Kolad, approximately 3-hour ride from Mumbai) conducts Zorbing activities in a hilly area covering over 200 meters. A session costs Rs 100 onwards. Contact Brigadier Sushil Bhasin on 9423093607. To get a feel of Zorbing, you can experience a tamer version at Hakone, an entertainment zone at Hiranandani in Powai. Pay Rs 100 for 2 rounds as two guys push your zorb ball over an area of 50 meters. Contact Headrush Paintball on 9096554899 for details.
