Rex Teo is the founder of Mutant Ape Kids Club NFT, a top-ranked NFT creator in Asia with more than 3 series of NFT created since January this year. Rex has been invited to share his knowledge at well-known conferences like Token 2049 Singapore this year. He is also invited as a speaker to DCENTRALMiami this year to speak on “NFT and its application”. He hopes that through such conferences, he can be able to bridge the gap between developers and blockchain fans. He founded two companies which give those who are interested in crypto and blockchain the opportunity to come together to develop products for the non-fungible token and DeFi market. He hopes that these initiatives will bring about new opportunities for everyone.
The Mutant Ape Kids Club NFT Series
This project was not only a success from the perspective of MAKC, but also from the perspective of blockchain as well as NFT's. It has been met with positive feedback from both communities in Asia who all want to be a part of it. The biggest testament for this is that within 72 hours, 3K copies of the collection were sold which equals over 10 million USD! There is something about the idea of owning digital objects that we can't get our hands on. He later founded another popular collection known as Bored Ape Teen Club.
MAKC launched the M2 collection in April 2022 under the banner of TRX Labs (then renamed 2MR Labs). Among this year's top NFT projects is the M2 collection with 5,010 NFTs, 310 traits, and 10 Legendary NFTs with unique attributes and traits. Proof of the aforementioned man's track record of success in the NFT space has arisen again, with the collection minted out in less than 48 hours. With his partnership with multiple other big projects, he is set up for continued growth and success in the coming years.

The technology behind these things could be used for so many different applications - games, movies or you name it, he said. It’s a pretty exciting time. He is one of the top NFT creators in Asia. So according to him the future of blockchain-based collectibles and crypto assets is bright because the barrier to entry is very low compared with traditional business models where there are usually too many middlemen involved. And with its transparency, security and decentralized nature, blockchain has huge potential for application in both business and government sectors.
