The 14th Newsmakers Achievement Award 2022, the Best Spiritual Leader was given to Shri Riteshwar Maharaj, the award was organized by Afternoon Voice, and the English daily of Mumbai on 1st May 2022. Former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis and Dr Vaidehi Taman gave way this award to Sadguru Shri Riteshwar Ji Maharaj for his outstanding contribution to mysticism. Sadguru Shri Riteshwar Ji Maharaj contributed enormously to the world of spirituality and social culture of the country.
While talking to the media, Sadhguru Shri Riteshwar Ji Maharaj said that Devendra Fadnavis has been very close to me, he is also a very good person, I got this award by his hands. I have dedicated this award to my country, Sanatan culture and the good people of the country.

Sadhguru Shri Riteshwar Ji Maharaj further said that it is unfortunate that the role models of any child are not their parents but film stars. Parents should think that there is some deficiency in us, due to which our children do not consider us as role models.
He says "I never did any work for the award; I did not even think that I would get the award. Or I will go to get the award but people told me that going will awaken the people. The well-known Swami Shri Riteshwar Ji Maharaj, who came from Mathura Vrindavan, said that the world runs on truth. Lord Macaulay's education system should be abolished and the education system of Sanatan culture should be implemented because Macaulay's education system has sown the seeds of slavery, where only success is needed. Today, the education of Baap Bada Na Bhaiya, Sabse Bada Rupaiya is being given, due to which parents and gurus are not being respected."
