CINEMATICAB, Co-Founder of Wedlancer, who dropped out from becoming a CA to become a Cinematographer.
Abhishek used to be a school topper and he pursued commerce to become a CA. With his efforts & great grasping power, he cleared CPT & IPCC in first attempt. However, during finals, he realized that he didn’t want to work as a CA for the rest of his life. He decided to drop out of his college but his dad was shocked & uncertain about Abhishek’s decision. Even after listening to his dad say, “People are dying to get a CA degree and you are the one who doesn’t want it”, Abhishek took a leap of faith and followed his passion.

Abhishek was always ambitious about traveling and wanted to explore the diversification the world offered. He began learning about cameras and started shooting videos. He made sure to never look back & keep going! When he entered the industry, Pre-Wedding shoots were quite old-style. He wanted to break the cheesy Bollywood type pattern. So, he shot Street Pre-Wedding and people started to love his work. Till date, Abhishek has shot 150+ Weddings & 100+ Pre-Weddings making him a skilled professional in the Cinematography industry. Abhishek has also bagged Videographer Award (Travel Film Category) for Thailand Travel Film & has been a Runner Up of Weddingsutra’s Pre-Wedding Filmmaker of the year (2021).
After completing four years in the industry, Abhishek decided to teach his expertise to students. He held his 1st workshop making his dad proud & till now, he has mentored over 500 students. Abhishek decided to launch Wedlancer along with Milan Kanani and Punit Desai to give back to society. Wedlancer is India’s biggest wedding freelancer community. The company helps organizations to find the best freelancers for all of their business needs. Wedlancer has helped numerous wedding freelancers to land their dream projects. Abhishek says, “It’s okay to take time to figure out what’s your passion but once you find it out never look back! Don’t let somebody tell you that you can’t do it!” Abhishek is an inspiration to the upcoming talents and he would love to open a film school one day to teach Cinematography.
