Jatin Khurana honoured with Mid-Day International Iconic Actor award

Actor Jatin Khurana, who has carved a special place in the hearts of the fans for his versatile acting and fitness, was awarded the Iconic Actor in Experimental Role category Award at the Mid Day International Icon Awards in Dubai. Actor Jatin Khurana was conferred this award by actors Vivek Oberoi and Amin Pathan at the five-star Hotel Grand Hyatt in Dubai. International icon award was a two-day program where Aditi Rao Hydari, Neha Sharma, Zareen Khan, Vivek Oberoi, Daisy Shah, Ameya Dastur, were honored with various awards.


Actor Jatin Khurana is passionate about real-life characters in films. Jatin Khurana had played the role of Chandrashekhar Azad in the film Jai Jawan Jai Kisan, has also been awarded the Best Actor Award at the Prayag International Film Festival. For his upcoming film Tauba Tera Jalwa, Khurana will be seen in the role of a real estate young businessman from western Uttar Pradesh. Actress Ameesha Patel and Angela Krislinzkiin will be seen in the lead roles with Jatin Khurana. The shooting of the film has just been completed and the film will be released early next year.


The film revolves around Uttar Pradesh's real estate tycoon Romi Tyagi, who is afraid of no one except god and only loves himself. Rinku, a very beautiful girl, who believes in fairy tales and is waiting for her prince charming. But the life of Rinku and Romi is going to change because Laila has entered in between them. Till now whatever people had heard, seen and known about love, is going to change. This story has lots of twists and turns. Many more stories are hidden at every turn.


On this occasion, Jatin Khurana said, "I want to thank the organizers of the award function and my fans. I dedicate this award to my parent. I find challenging to play a real-life character. I am reinventing the nuances of acting and keep learning. In the future too, the audience will see me in experimental characters.

Tauba Tera Jalwa is produced by Madanlal Khurana and Naresh Bansal under the banner of Shri Ram Productions and Victoria Enterprises. The film is directed and written by Akashaditya Lama. Vikram Montrose has given the music and Cinematography by Shakil Khan. Arshad Khan is the executive producer and Avinash Kumar is the production manager. Choreography by Jayesh Pradhan and editing by Sanjay. Along with Jatin Khurana Ameesha Patel and Angela Krislinzkiin other cast are Rajesh Sharma, Neeraj Sood, Anil Rastogi, Ehsan Khan.

The shooting of this drama genre film had been completed at   Ghaziabad, Meerut, Hapur, Sikandrabad & Mumbai and will hit the theatre early next year.
