Among other construction business giants to bid, PSP Projects was successfully able to crack the contract for constructing the ‘Surat Diamond Bourse' crediting his vision and techno-commercial capabilities.
In India's Diamond City- Surat, where the diamond polishing and trading sector has fragmented, work on the "Surat Diamond Bourse", the world's largest office building on a single basement, is on the verge of completion. The smart city is also known as DREAM (Diamond Research and Mercantile) City. This construction was only able to work so swiftly because of constant work done by PSP Projects.
PSP Projects is involved in the construction of the office complex, with a contract value of INR 1575 crore and a built-up area of 66 lakh sq. ft. SDB Diamond Bourse, a non-profit organization founded for the formation and promotion of Surat Diamond Bourse, is responsible for its development. This is India's second diamond trade hub after Bharat Diamond Bourse in Mumbai.
Aside from diamond traders, SDB has house safe deposit vaults, a museum, a customs office, money transfer desks, travel desks, a retail zone, an auction house, and a diamond club all under one roof, all with state-of-the-art amenities and security systems.
PSP Projects is a one-stop destination for all building construction needs, including design, construction, mechanical and electrical systems, and interior fit-outs. They had set a record by pouring more than 600 cubic meters of concrete every day for more than 24 months during the construction of the complex.
