She was dedicated to her passion for becoming a singer since she was a kid. No matter what, she had to fulfill her dream. Menka was advised to learn music by her school music teacher, Late Gayatri Tiwari Ji. She insisted Menka start learning music as she had a melodious and wonderful voice. Menka followed her dreams passionately. She did not give up her passion for music even after she got married and had kids. Notably, Menka has pursued her MA in Music after her marriage and her Ph.D. from Allahabad University after having two children. Menka is a true inspiration to all women out there. She did not let marriage and children become a hurdle in fulfilling her dreams. Women should get inspired by Menka and learn the art of never giving up.


Menka has been working with T-Series for a very long time. Under the T-Series banner, Menka has given many hit albums. Some of them are Jai Ganesh, Bansuri pe Kanha, Mohan Murli Bana Lena, He Mahaveer Hanumat Namh, Sai Chalisa, Prem Deewani Meera, Maiya ka Darbar Saja hai, Shubh Karini Vaishno Devi, Pyar Hai Bepanah, Piya Nirmohiya, etc. Apart from T-Series, Menka Mishra has also recorded songs with Wave, Vijay Lakshmi, Kv, Dc, etc. She has also recorded various songs in Bollywood with Shaan, Udit Narayan, Jaspinder Narula, Kumar Vishnu, and many more. Menka Mishra has also worked for Doordarshan and Akashwani. It is important to note here that Menka started her career in Akashwani.


As mentioned earlier, Menka is a true inspiration and the epitome of never give up attitude. She has been awarded many times for her contribution to society and the music industry. Menka has received a certificate of appreciation for Ghazal's performance in "Jagjit Singh Ghazal Night" in Allahabad in 2005. She has also been awarded the "Teerth Raj Kala Ratna Award" for Sugam Sangeet in the year 2015. She has also been awarded the "Prayag Sangam Gaurav Award" in the year 2018. For the presentation of Sufi Bhajans in "Bhadohi Mahotsav 2018', she was awarded a certificate of appreciation. These are just a few awards that Menka Mishra had titled to her name. There are several others added to that list. Besides all this, Menka has also judged a music show titled "Folk Jalwa". Her devotional songs have also been played on TV channels like Sanskaar, Aastha, Sahara TV, ETV, etc. She has also given music performances on National channels like Zee TV, Sahara, Doordarshan, etc.


According to Menka Mishra, there are quite a few projects that are going to be released soon. Some of them are as follows:

Saawre Piya- Written, sung, and composed by Menka Mishra from "Thumri Ang". It will be released very soon under a big banner.

Almast Fakira- The Sufi composition of medieval poet Malukdas Ji with a new style of music will also be heard soon.

Pyar Karun Tujhse- A new romantic Ghazal By Menka Mishra will be releasing very soon.

Her new projects will be out soon, and the audience will love them as they have loved her earlier projects. All these new projects are going to be quite different from the ones that she has covered earlier. Fans should keep their hopes high.
