Isha Chhabra, the woman recently caught attempting to unlawfully enter Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s residence, also had a case registered against her at the Amboli Police Station in Mumbai.
What happened at the RTO?
The incident took place on April 28 at the Regional Transport Office (RTO) in Andheri, where Chhabra allegedly created a major disturbance during a dispute over a vehicle ownership transfer. According to officials, she assaulted a female staff member and damaged office property, including a computer system.
Following the ruckus, the Amboli Police registered a case against Chhabra under several sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) based on a complaint lodged by senior clerk Vrushali Kale. She has been charged under Sections 132, 122(2), 324(2), and 352.
As per the complaint, Chhabra visited the RTO claiming that her vehicle had been illegally transferred to a woman named Sneha Pandey, insisting that she had not authorised any sale. She demanded the vehicle be re-registered in her name.
When Kale explained that the transfer had followed legal procedure and all necessary documents were submitted by the new owner, Chhabra reportedly lost her temper. She began yelling, refused to calm down, and went on to vandalize the office by pulling down and damaging a computer system.
