Yuva Sena chief Aaditya Thackeray, on Thursday, inaugurated city's sixth pumping station called 'Gazdarbandh Storm Water Pumping Station' in Khar. The Yuva Sena leader was accompanied by Mumbai Mayor Vishwanath Mahadeshwar as the two took stock of the city's pumping station ahead of the arrival of rains in the city.

Aditya Thackeray took to micro-blogging site Twitter to share pictures of the event where Aaditya is seen interacting with BMC officials and taking stock of the city's sixth water pumping station.

While sharing the inside pictures of the inauguration ceremony with his fans and followers, Aaditya Thackeray informed that due to Gazdarbandh pumping station areas such as Bandra, Juhu, and Santacruz will have relief from waterlogging. He also wrote that the water pumping station can pump out 36,000 litres of water per second and help in bringing relief to Mumbaikars during monsoon season.
