Rakul Preet Singh, who recently gave the audience De Pyaar De, opposite Ajay Devgn, was out on her daily stroll, and the actress was seen donning an orange sports bra and gym leggings. All Pics/Yogen Shah
Rakul Preet Singh, who is a popular name in the Southern film industry, is quite infrequent in her appearances in Hindi films. Explaining the reason, Rakul says, "I don't have a godfather offering work to me, so there has always been a struggle [to get projects]. But the fact that you do not get it easy makes you respect your work more. I want to have great films to my credit, irrespective of which language they are in."
Siddhant Chaturvedi, who became an overnight sensation after his stellar debut in Gully Boy was snapped by the paparazzi in Bandra, Mumbai. The newbie opted for a pink t-shirt and green trousers for the outing. Siddhant will be next seen in an action and comedy films produced by Excel Entertainment.
Siddhant said he wants to prove himself as lead and is carefully choosing scripts. "I am not related to anyone in the film industry and I can't afford to miss the flight. I am an outsider, there is nepotism and other things also happen. I am taking time to read scripts. I happen to read at least three to four scripts a week," said the actor.
Also giving him company for the outing was Ishaan Khatter. Ishaan opted for his casual best, a black jacket and black-orange shorts. Ishaan, is being considered for a sequel of Ishq Vishk, which was his brother Shahid Kapoor's debut film. A source close to the development said, "The makers are currently working on the script for the movie. Ishq Vishq was very young in nature, and hence, who better than Ishaan Khatter, who exhibits the required charm and innocence for the role."
Dia Mirza was also clicked in Bandra. For her outing, Dia looked adorable in her blue floral top and denims. Dia recently made her web series debut in Kaafir alongside Mohit Raina. The web series is based on the life and struggle of a Pakistani woman and her daughter who crossed over to India.
Dia who has been in the industry for over 15 years has worked with women directors only twice. "It is appalling that in my career of over 15 years, I did not get enough chances to work with women directors... it has been hardly one or two times. I did not intentionally choose not to work with women filmmakers. Unfortunately, there were hardly any women on the director's chair till a few years ago," Dia said.
