    The makers of Blank held a special screening for the family at a popular studio in Juhu, Mumbai. Dimple Kapadia, Twinkle Khanna, Akshay Kumar, Karan Kapadia, Vatsal Seth with wife Ishita Dutta, Shrishti Arya, Jackie Shroff and Ramesh Taurani attended the special screening.     Dimple Kapadia's nephew Karan Kapadia is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Blank. The actress' nephew's film, titled Blank, is all set to release on May 3, 2019. The film also features Sunny Deol in a pivotal role. Karan Kapadia is the son of Dimple's late sister, Simple Kapadia. Karan learnt martial arts and horseriding as prep for the action thriller.

    Another addition to this film is Karanvir Sharma, who was last seen as Kriti Kharbanda's boyfriend in Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana. He is said to be playing a pivotal role in the action thriller. Akshay Kumar has also done a cameo role in Tony D'Souza's production.

    On April 9, Karan Kapadia revealed the surprise through his Instagram account. Akshay Kumar, who is Karan Kapadia's brother-in-law (Twinkle Khanna's cousin) revealed Khiladi Kumar's special song in the movie. The song eulogising the supreme lord starts with mellow music. The song features Akshay Kumar standing on a raised platform, raising his hands in the name of the lord, amidst a mass of people.

    Belonging to the film industry, there was a question of him being the product of nepotism. Talking to mid-day about his debut vehicle, Karan Kapadia said that he bagged the film on his own merit, and didn't seek anyone's advice for it.

    "I've never used my extended family's surname to bag a meeting. I decided to sign this film and then, told my folks about it. I didn't specifically go to Akshay sir to seek his advice. My family was happy that the entire process happened organically," says Karan Kapadia.

    "When I signed the film in 2016, Sunny sir was not a part of it at that time. It was a small film then. Now it has become a big film due to Sunny sir and Akshay sir. It is incredible. I had never imagined it this way," Karan told PTI.

    "I am a first-time actor, Behzad Khambata is a new director and you need someone of that kind of experience. It also helps you workwise. They have loyal, die-hard fans and that too helps in getting attention," he said.

    "From being a kid on his sets, when he was at the peak of his career, to now sharing a frame with him, it was all surreal. I was very nervous when I was doing the first scene with him. I can say that he elevates the film to another level, his presence just adds up," he said.
